How Does Act O' Feel Work?

Act O' Feel contains hyaluronic acid which activates the CD44 receptor to gradually and naturally stimulate collagen production of fibroblast cells. To complete the process of rebuilding lost collagen, the fibroblast cells need amino acids which are also included in Act O' Feel. As a result, volume is restored to the face, neck, décolleté, and hands reducing the appearance of wrinkles and drooping skin.

How long does Act O' Feel last?

Results arise gradually and can last up to 24 months. Treatment protocols are generally 3 sessions over the course of 3 to 4 months. Individual results and treatment sessions may vary. Single session maintenance recommended every 6 months to ensure maximum results.

Act O' Feel FAQ

Although PLEXR is a non-invasive treatment and is considered safe, patients may experience minor side effects within the first seven days after treatment. Brown marks resembling minor scabs, called carbon crusts, will appear, falling off after around five days to reveal new pink skin underneath. In some cases, swelling may occur, particularly when treating eyelids, but typically lasts no more than 3-5 days. To prevent more severe side effects such as hyperpigmentation, it's essential to follow the aftercare regimen recommended by your practitioner.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid Plexr, similar to other cosmetic procedures. While some darker skin types may be appropriate for the treatment, it is not recommended for individuals with very dark skin due to a higher risk of hyperpigmentation (dark spots) or hypopigmentation (light spots) after treatment, especially if the carbon crust is disturbed by scratching, scrubbing, or picking. It's crucial to consult a healthcare professional or doctor before proceeding with any treatment regime.
